The Tuscan Maremma, with its varied coastline and constant winds, is a paradise for sailing: there are several marinas along the coast that serve as bases for sailing trips and excursions, such as Punta Ala, Puntone di Scarlino, and Porto Ercole.
From these ports you can take day trips to explore the beautiful islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, such as Elba and Il Giglio, and spot dolphins along the way. For the more experienced, there are also itineraries that go as far as Elba Island and Argentario.
